Correspondence, biographical material. Consists primarily of letters written to her family, 1858-1926. Most from England, prior to and after her marriage to her second husband, Richard C. Jebb. The letters include descriptions of late 19th century England and many literary figures with whom they socialized, including Robert Browning, Thomas Carlyle, Charles Darwin, Benjamin Disraeli, George Eliot, Charles Hale, Oliver Wendell Homes, James Russell Lowell, Alfred Lord Tennyson, Ellen Terry, Mark Twain, and William Thackeray. There are also brief diary entries, articles, and a copy of the published book, With Dearest Love to All (1960), by Mary Reed Bobbitt, Lady Jebb's great-great-niece, containing portions of these letters.
